Structural and Facility Planning Mechanical Engineer

This position as a civil engineer is a non-paid, voluntary work. We look for individuals that are highly motivated and want to help in the fight to mitigate the effects of climate change. This position as a sensor developer is a non-paid, voluntary work. Applicants for this position in the Process Team should have the following skills:
Knowledge in statics for below and under ground engineering required for large scale structures like reservoirs and silos
Design and optimisation of specialised bulding techniques for storage silos involving ice and organic materials
Knowledge of manual construction techniques and construction machines, as well as conveying techniques for liquid and granular materials
Experience with techniques for non-permanent buildings like construction rigs, concrete lego blocks and movable metal plates for ground stabilísation
Skills in planning software (CAD or similar architecture software)
Initiative in problem solving and ability to communicate new ideas to the team
Independent, cooperative and conscientious way of working and open communication
Your tasks will involve planning and later construciton of dry ice storage sites at varoius scales, also including installation of dry ice production units, piping, access ways and sensors for monitoring as well as safety and oparation concepts for dry ice storage sites.
